Biomutant playtime has a lot to offer in-game from questlines to mini-games, and its open-world gives more exploration for trophy and achievement hunters to complete.
Biomutant vast variety is a lot to take in with players taking the storyline in any direction, we are left wondering, what is the total playtime to complete the game.
Biomutant does not have a fixed storyline and players can take the narrative in any direction, this also creates the question of how much playtime players get depending on the actions they take. Developers at THQ Nordic gave an estimate on their blog, “If you do not end a specific event (which we don’t want to spoil) early, we are roughly looking at ~25 hours for the main quest. 100% is more like 50h.” That is a lot of playtimes even without the side questlines and mini-games completed. Developers also mention some areas of the story will need some prerequisites in order to progress at times or survive upcoming areas of exploration.
The map is 24.71 square miles of exploration with random loot systems and enemies ranging in difficulty will result in different times for each player. The great news is that the different breeds chosen will not affect the gameplay or story.
