Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) has entered a partnership with ReturnSafe to incorporate the BD Veritor At-Home COVID-19 Test directly into the latter’s testing management platform.
ReturnSafe is a comprehensive software solution for Covid-19 employee safety, health and compliance.
The BD Veritor At-Home COVID-19 Test leverages a mobile application to decipher and display test results digitally in 15 minutes.
The test is currently indicated for use to identify proteins from the SARS-CoV-2 virus under the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Emergency Use Authorization (EUA).
It is one of the only at-home tests that completely automates result reporting to federal and state public health authorities.
The test also offers an optimised experience to businesses and schools for optional reporting.

Adding ReturnSafe provides such organisations with the insights and tools to handle their testing programmes at scale.
By integrating the test with ReturnSafe, employers can efficiently obtain test results, track people who have concluded testing needs on time and act following the rapid detection of positive cases.
They can also handle isolation and quarantine workflows, as well as obtain data for compliance reporting.
Furthermore, employees can upload test results from their homes through a technology that digitally reads and validates the result before importing it into the ReturnSafe Command Center.
With this approach, proctor or manual review of the tests uploaded into the ReturnSafe system are not required.

Currently start-up Superhuman is collaborating with ReturnSafe to leverage the combined solution of its platform and BD’s Covid-19 test to handle their enterprise’s testing status of employees.
