Respawn Entertainment announced an Apex Legends Arenas ranked mode is coming to the game in its Season 10 update. That update is scheduled to arrive some time after the current season ends Aug. 3, although no date has yet to be confirmed.
In Arenas, players form teams of three and play death match rounds, earning cash through their in-match performances to spend on better equipment going into the successive rounds. The game mode encourages smart play and rewards the most mechanically skilled players in Apex. It’s also a significantly shorter time commitment than a full battle royale match, making it popular for players looking to bite off a smaller chunk of Apex in their downtime.
In addition to ranked Arenas, Apex Legends Season 10 is expected to bring a new Legend and the usual sweep of new and enticing cosmetics.
