Wellington’s emissions have dropped by 9% since 2020, according to the latest data.
The capital’s total gross emissions dropped from 939,309 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e) in the 2019/20 financial year, to 853,513 tCO2e in 2021/22, according to a report by consultants AECOM.
