Trevor Lawrence Day-to-Day with Ankle Injury

Date:

The Jacksonville Jaguars suffered two big losses on Monday Night Football; They lost the game against the Bengals, costing them the number one seed in the AFC, and they lost their quarterback. Trevor Lawrence went down with an ankle injury during the game, and could not leave the field under his own power.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.

Lawrence was the most highly-touted number one overall pick at the quarterback position since Andrew Luck was drafted by the Colts. While in college, Lawrence won the College Football Playoff National Championship with Clemson back in 2018. He won the Offensive MVP of that game.

In 12 games so far this year, Lawrence has a completion percentage of 67.9 percent. He’s thrown for 3,004 yards, 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He made the Pro Bowl last year after throwing for over 4,000 yards and 25 touchdowns.
