Silicon Valley’s workers are logging more hours than they were in 2020—but on the whole, they’re also happier about it.

In a survey of 923 subscribers to The Information, tech executives and employees report feeling more satisfied with their working situations and healthier overall than they were at the outset of the pandemic in 2020. A majority of respondents are exercising and sleeping more and feeling more productive in their jobs. This is despite the fact that we are actually spending more time working than we were pre–Covid-19 and that roughly 40% of respondents are planning on leaving their current jobs within the next two years.

As many of us are now on at least a partial in-office schedule (here at The Information, we’re back three days a week), we thought it would be a good time to check in on tech workers and survey their state of mind during this transitional time. Here are the results.
