Bitcoin of America, a crypto ATM registered as a money services business with the U.S. Department of Treasury, has added Dogecoin to its Bitcoin of America ATM locations, according to a press release. Crypto enthusiasts can now buy the meme-based cryptocurrency over 1800 Bitcoin ATM machines (BTMs) across 31 states in the United States. The move resulted in Dogecoin suddenly skyrocketing above 11.1% from the past 24 hours. In May of last year, Bitcoin of America announced its “Universal Kiosk” which combines the capabilities of a traditional ATM with a cryptocurrency ATM. It also offers three main functions which include the traditional ATM feature where customers can dispense cash from a debit card; the ability to buy cryptocurrency with cash; and the ability to sell crypto in return for cash. In addition to providing crypto ATM services, the company also offers programs for store owners looking to earn extra income by taking care of their host locations and providing them with passive income, increased foot traffic, and marketing. They even handle customer support and any maintenance/installation services.
