It is being sold through n expressions of interest by Kay & Burton Flinders director Andrew Hines, who described Windmill as “one of the best houses in the Mornington Peninsula”.

“That’s due to a combination of the house itself, the location and the views,” Mr Hines said.

He said the owners loved to entertain and had designed the house with this in mind.

The abode includes a parent’s retreat, accessed via a “unique gallery”.

“I think it is because people can still work in Melbourne and live down here,” he added.
