It is a series LLC investment fund under Backstage Crowd II, a venture capital firm that invests in companies formed by underrepresented founders. Runner helps in connecting outstanding operations talent with the most inclusive companies. The platform allows the companies to look for talent and add people to their teams on a fractional or temporary basis. Runner has 120 customers and more than 350 on the waitlist, with a $1 million GMV run rate. Arlan Hamilton founded Runner in March 2022. The current campaign has a maximum target of $642,700.
