Scientists have claimed that MARIJUANA-based gummies, and pills that prevent Covid-19 infections could be released within the next one year.
Oregon State University researcher Richard Van Breemen published last week a study that found two cannabis acidic compounds in hemp that can block Covid-19’s entry into human cells.

Cannabidiolic and cannabigerolic acids (CBGA) can reportedly bind with the spike protein of SARS-2, the virus responsible for Covid-19.
These compounds, by binding to the spike proteins, can stop the virus from getting into cells and causing infection.
In an interview with Central Recorder Dr. Breemen expressed excitement about the findings of his study and noted that the compounds had proved to be effective. “equally effective”They reacted the same way against the alpha covid strain as they did against it.
“We were particularly pleased to see that these compounds could be effective against some of the early variants,”Breeman spoke.
“We haven’t yet tested it against Omicron or the Delta variant but we hope to do so very soon.”
