Real use cases in Asian open banking

Date:

A recent global survey from Finastra has found that open banking has firmly taken root in Asia – and financial institutions are already reaping the benefits of collaboration. In fact, 95% of banks in Hong Kong have already found collaboration to be a key driver of their success, while nine out of 10 in Singapore said it has already made their business more efficient. But what does this really mean?

Join Finastra and DigFin‘s virtual dialogue, where we will be joined by experts from HSBC, DBS Hong Kong, TONIK and EY to look beyond the buzzwords and find out how modern banks are leveraging open banking and fintech collaboration to meet today’s customer expectations.

Open banking models raise many questions, so we will be asking our expert panelists:

  • What are the commercial use cases for banks?
  • How do open banking rules and practices vary across the region?
  • What’s the risk of API developer failures?
  • How are banks, virtual banks, and fintechs creating new ecosystems in Asia?
  • Plus: standards, interoperability, regulation, data, security, privacy.
