Razer Launches Kanagawa Wave Apparel Collection, Apparel Made From Marine Plastics

Date:

Razer, a global lifestyle brand for gamers based in Irvine, California, is going green. The popular computer gaming peripheral maker has announced the launch of the Kanagawa Wave Apparel collection, a range of limited-edition clothing made with materials created from recovered marine plastics.

The company says making apparel from recovered marine plastics is designed to “highlight the issue of marine plastics pollution” and will see monies gained from these sales used in reducing marine plastics to protect the oceans and its inhabitants.

The apparel collection is set to launch on April 7 at 7 p.m. PST, and will only be available in limited quantities.

Created by using high-quality fabrics made from 100% recycled marine plastics, the collection will include t-shirts, hoodies, tank tops, shorts and caps. The fabrics are created under a wider program to remove marine plastics from the seas and recycle them into useful products.
