Taking to social media platform X, Pal shared that he holds less than 2% of the total WIF token supply. This disclosure comes amidst a surge in WIF’s market value, pushing it beyond the $3 mark for the first time.

The surge in WIF’s market value has captured the attention of traders and the broader cryptocurrency community, sparking renewed interest in the meme token space within the Solana ecosystem.
WIF’s recent performance has been exceptional, with a 1,600% surge in value over the past 90 days, coupled with a 600% increase in the last 30 days and a 54% rise in the past seven days.

Despite being relatively new, WIF has quickly climbed the ranks to become the fourth-largest meme token by market capitalization, with a market value of $3.1 billion. While still trailing behind Dogecoin (DOGE), which holds the 10th position with a market cap of $26 billion, WIF’s rapid growth is remarkable.
A recent report by Arkham Intelligence showcased the profitability of meme tokens, citing a trader who capitalized on the hype around Dogwifhat. This trader managed to achieve a staggering 33,000% yield, turning a modest investment into millions in realized profit.
Pal clarified that his disclosure of holding WIF is not an endorsement but an acknowledgement of the excitement surrounding the token.
WIF Community Engagement and Fundraising
WIF’s community has also shown strong support, raising significant funds to display the token’s mascot at Las Vegas’ Sphere entertainment venue. Dogwifhat will be showcased in Las Vegas thanks to the generous contributions of its community members.
The funds raised, which amounted to over $690,000 in USDC stablecoin, exceeded the initial target of $650,000 within four days. This successful campaign enables the display of the token’s mascot, a Shiba Inu sporting a pink beanie, on the Sphere, a prominent orb-shaped entertainment venue in the city.
