A rich-lister couple who knocked down two mansions and constructed an architecturally-designed mega mansion have listed their jawdropping Noosa Heads property for sale after upsizing to a hinterland estate.

Richard and Mary Delaney bought a 19ha lakeside property at Lake Macdonald for $10.2 million off Betty’s Burgers co-founder David Hales and his wife, Louise, late last year.

They have now listed their Tim Ditchfield-designed Witta Circle showstopper for sale.
Publicly available property records show the couple splurged $17 million on two neighbouring properties in 2018 and 2020.
In August 2020, it was reported that demolition applications had been submitted to Noosa Council for both properties, with planning records showing they were approved.

The lounge
A building application was submitted for one of the properties, while property records show the other block was sold vacant for $13 million in August 2021.
It was bought by Western Australian mining investor, Kerry Kyriakos Harmanis.
Mr Harmanis is also listed as the owner of another Witta Circle property, which was purchased for $19.5 million in March 2022.
That is the equal highest price for property on Witta Circle, with a neighbouring home selling for $19.5 million in November 2022.
Now the Delaney’s have engaged Century 21 Conolly Hay Group agents Mike Hay and David Conolly to sell their “one-of-a-kind waterfront masterpiece”.
The 3-storey statement residence has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and sits on a 616sq m block with its own private beach and jetty.
The basement hosts the garage, music room and gym, while the ground floor is home to an office, lounge and the open plan kitchen with scullery, dining and living area.
