The Call of Duty League (CDL) Major 3 Qualifiers have just concluded and the results are in. After three days of intense competition, the top eight teams have been determined and will be advancing to the Major 3 Playoffs.
The first day of the qualifiers saw the Atlanta FaZe, Dallas Empire, and Los Angeles Guerrillas all secure their spots in the playoffs. The second day saw the Chicago Huntsmen, London Royal Ravens, Minnesota Rokkr, and OpTic Gaming Los Angeles all secure their spots in the playoffs. Finally, on the third day, the Seattle Surge and Toronto Ultra both secured their spots in the playoffs.
The top eight teams that will be advancing to the Major 3 Playoffs are: Atlanta FaZe, Dallas Empire, Los Angeles Guerrillas, Chicago Huntsmen, London Royal Ravens, Minnesota Rokkr, OpTic Gaming Los Angeles, and Seattle Surge. These teams will now compete in a double-elimination bracket for a chance to win the Major 3 Championship.
The Major 3 Playoffs will begin on May 14th and will conclude on May 16th. The top two teams from the playoffs will then advance to the Major 3 Championship on May 23rd. The winner of the Major 3 Championship will receive $500,000 in prize money and the title of Major 3 Champions.
The CDL Major 3 Qualifiers have been an exciting event and the results have been highly anticipated.
