“Study Identifies Most Affordable Suburbs Close to Sydney CBD”

Living in Sydney can be expensive, but a recent study has identified some of the most affordable suburbs close to the city centre. The research, conducted by a team of real estate experts, looked at the median house prices in suburbs within a 10km radius of the Sydney CBD.

The study revealed that the most affordable suburb close to the CBD is Marrickville, with a median house price of $1,000,000. This is followed by Tempe ($1,100,000), Dulwich Hill ($1,200,000), and Petersham ($1,250,000).

The study also found that some of the most expensive suburbs close to the city centre are Potts Point ($2,500,000), Elizabeth Bay ($2,400,000), and Woolloomooloo ($2,300,000).

The research team also looked at the average rental prices in each suburb. They found that the most affordable suburb for renters is Marrickville, with an average rental price of $550 per week. This is followed by Dulwich Hill ($600 per week), Tempe ($650 per week), and Petersham ($700 per week).

The study also revealed that some of the most expensive suburbs for renters are Potts Point ($1,200 per week), Elizabeth Bay ($1,100 per week), and Woolloomooloo ($1,000 per week).

Overall, the study has identified some of the most affordable suburbs close to the Sydney CBD. For those looking to buy a house or rent an apartment close to the city centre, Marrickville, Tempe, Dulwich Hill, and Petersham are all great options.
