After Liden Films announced the anime adaptation of Bastard!! in February 2022, the show didn’t take much longer to get released on Netflix. The creators decided to air the 24-episode series in two parts. The first 13 episodes aired officially on June 30th, 2022, leaving the remaining 11 for release. Until now, Part 2 of Bastard!! -Heavy Metal Dark Fantasy didn’t have a release date, but just recently, an official Tweet from the creators confirmed the September release for the show’s return.
The trailer of the upcoming Netflix Original anime was too good to leave the show unwatched. As expected, the series received appreciation from the fans, but its gore and intimate content means it’s just for adults. In order to keep the show intact to its manga, the intense gore and adult content was necessary.
The news comes from the official Twitter account of Bastard!! As confirmed in the Tweet, episodes 14 to 24 of the series will air on September 15th, 2022. The remaining episodes will also air on Netflix and will release in a single day, just like like part one of the series.
