Oakley Capital has hires Valero Domingo from Charme Capital Partners as a dealmaking partner in its London office.
Together with the promotions of Sam Fenton-Whittet and Sacha Günther from investment directors to partners, the firm now comprises 32 investment professionals in its offices in London and Munich.
Domingo, pictured, was an investment executive at JP Morgan’s alternative investment fund Highbridge before spending five years as principal in Charme Capital. He was also an investment director at 3i Group and associate at Goldman Sachs.
Fenton-Whittet joined Oakley’s London office in 2015 after working for the UK government, including senior finance roles for HM Treasury. He has involved in the investments in Career Partner Group, Schülerhilfe and Inspired and will continue to focus on deal origination, execution and portfolio management.
Günther is based in Munich and focuses on the firm’s investments in the German-speaking regions. He has worked on the Wishcard Technologies, 7NXT/Gymondo, WindStar Medical and most recently ECOMMERCE ONE deals.
Oakley also announced the promotion of Lovis von Andrian to investment director.

European private equity house Oakley recently stormed past its €350m target for its first lower mid-market fundraise, hitting a €455m final close in January after just six months in the market.
The firm raised €1.46bn for its final close for Fund IV in 2019.
