Nvidia Wants To Improve RTX 3060 Production Starting In July

Date:

We’re in a very tough time right now when it comes to video game consoles and PC hardware, especially with the line of GPUs. Thanks to the worldwide health pandemic outbreak, there was a big issue when it came to the production of several products as work was forced to close for a period. Likewise, several issues popped up in transportation to get these products into the markets. Ultimately, it left a very short supply available in the marketplace which had not consumers jumping at the bit to get various product units but resellers as well.

We saw resellers jump on stock for the likes of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and graphics cards. Especially for graphics cards because not only are there gamers that want units for their builds but cryptocurrency miners as well. There were even some issues with cryptocurrency miners that want to dive into the latest units which made it incredibly frustrating to gamers that just wanted to upgrade their gaming builds to match the latest generation of gaming. Now it looks like Nvidia is at the very least trying to beef up their production line of the Nvidia RTX 3060 units.

While the RTX 3060 is not the highest tier of GPUs from the RTX 30 series, it does provide a great value for gaming. The latest reports surfacing online suggest that Nvidia is going to increase production for the latest graphic cards starting in July which would make it a bit easier for consumers to get a unit before the stock is picked clean. Likewise, this should hopefully ease up on the reseller raising the price for the units online.

With the RTX 3060 being MSPR for about $330, it’s far from that price online. Resellers have been flipping these cards for nearly $1,000 online. That’s simply because of the demand for these units and the limited stock. Perhaps when more units show up online and it’s a bit easier to get these cards, the reseller market will implode for units. However, only time will tell as we wait and see just how much of a production boost Nvidia will give these cards next month.
