Als u tot nu toe het grote aanbod aan producten van Stripe wilde gebruiken, moest u de betalingen via Stripe verwerken.

Maar dat is niet langer het geval. Op de jaarlijkse conferentie van het bedrijf in San Francisco gisteren, Stripe Chief Product Officer Will Gaybrick aangekondigd dat het bedrijf “onze modulariteit uitbreidt naar de kern van Stripe: betalingsverwerking.”

Bedrijven die langetermijncontracten hebben met Adyen, PayPal of een andere verwerker, kunnen nu alle producten van Stripe gebruiken. Dit is gericht op grote ondernemingen die mogelijk niet bereid zijn deze contracten te verbreken.

Terwijl Stripe kleine bedrijven begon te helpen, richten ze zich tegenwoordig vooral op de grotere zakelijke markt, aangezien er nu meer dan 100 bedrijven zijn die jaarlijks minstens $1 miljard verwerken door Stripe-producten te gebruiken.

Streep beroemd onthuld Vorige maand meldde het bedrijf dat het in 1 meer dan 2023 biljoen dollar aan betalingen verwerkte.

Met deze stap van Stripe zet de onverbiddelijke opmars naar een wereld die gedomineerd wordt door embedded finance zich voort.
