New Pokemon Snap’s Best Frenemies quest involves Pinsir, Heracross, and Sylveon. Utilize your Fluffruit and Illumina Orbs in order to capture a four star photo of these Pokemon.

Travel to Florio Park at night to begin this quest. One you have reached Research level 2 and are strolling along the path, you will eventually encounter Pinsir, which is sticking its horns from the ground. There should be a Crystabloom beside Pinsir’s horns.

Press Y in order to throw Illumina Orbs at Pinsir and begin scanning the area by pressing X. While scanning the area, a Heracross will fall down from a tree and land beside Pinsir. Continue to throw Illumina Orbs at Pinsir until it rises from the ground. After Pinsir and Heracross are interacting with each other, throw Fluffruit at Pinsir in order to aggravate it and allow it to focus on Heracross.

As players proceed further down the trail, Heracross and Pinsir will soon enter the screen again, battling each other. There will also be a Sylveon asleep on the side and players should wake this Pokemon up by throwing Illumina Orbs at it.

After Sylveon wakes up, you should then activate your Melody towards Heracross and Pinsir. The Melody will then prompt Sylveon to approach the battling Pokemon and salvage the situation by encouraging them to laugh.

While these Pokemon are laughing, you should zoom in on Pinsir by pressing ZL and capture the moment. Sylveon and Heracross must be in the frame of the photo. Once you have taken a few photos, you should send the best one to Professor Mirror in order to receive a star rating.
