Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Demo Release Time & How To Download

During the recent Capcom Digital Event, it was confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak would be receiving a demo on both Nintendo Switch and Steam. The developers have since gone on to confirm the exact release date and time on both platforms.

Although Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will be launching on June 30th, players will soon have the opportunity to explore the returning Jungle region and take on new monsters. There will only be a select few monsters available in the demo, such as Astalos, Tetranadon, and a Great Izuchi.

But before you jump into slaying monsters, learn the basics with the special training quests, also available in the demo. So, if you’re eager to jump in, here’s the official release time and how you can download the Sunbreak demo on both Nintendo Switch and Steam.

What Is The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Demo Release Time?

Monster Hunter Rise fans will be able to jump into the Sunbreak demo on Tuesday, June 14th or Wednesday, June 15th, depending on your region. The release time for the demo is 7PM PT / 10PM ET / 3AM BST.

The upcoming demo will feature both singleplayer and multiplayer, but Nintendo Switch users will need to ensure they have an Online Membership active in order to play with other players. Capcom has also confirmed a total of 14 different weapon types and four different quests will be available in the demo.

Playing the demo will also guarantee you some exclusive bonuses in the full release of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak:

  • 60 Mega Potions
  • 15 Pitfall Traps
  • 30 Energy Drinks
  • 15 Mega Demondrugs
  • 15 Mega Armorskins

How To Download The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Demo

Unfortunately, players won’t be able to pre-load the demo, as won’t be available to download on either Nintendo Switch or Steam until the aforementioned date and time.

Players will need to ensure they have an active internet connection and at least 10GB of free space on their platform. Once Sunbreak launches on June 30th, save data will not be transferable from the demo.

Both Steam and Nintendo Switch users will be able to download the demo by searching for ‘Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Demo‘ on their chosen store pages, both of which can be found at the links below:
