English Premier League club Manchester City F.C. has renewed and extended its partnership with South Korean tire company Nexen Tire. The new partnership extends the logo placement to be featured on all sides of kits associated with the club, including Manchester City Esports’ FIFA players’ jerseys.
Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
Manchester F.C. signed the initial partnership deal with Nexen Tire in February, which saw Nexen Tire logos placed on the sleeves of club jerseys, as well as those of its FIFA esports players. Nexen Tire has had a longstanding relationship with the soccer club that dates back to 2015.
Manchester City F.C. signed a partnership with FaZe Clan in September of 2019 to collaborate on content and events, share a training facility, and launch co-branded retail products. Some of those efforts between the two organizations’ FIFA teams were stymied by the COVID-19 pandemic.
