이번 주에 우리 뭐 놀까? (15년 4월 2024일) | 고수게이머즈

Final Fantasy 16’s final expansion and a promising action-RPG both launch this week.

If you’re a fan of game franchises starting with the letter ‘F’, this is going to be a pretty great week. Amazon Prime Video’s TV adaptation of Fallout dropped last week and if you haven’t given it a go, you absolutely should. Game adaptations of this quality don’t come along too often, after all. Final Fantasy 16 is also putting an end to Clive Rosfield’s journey for good, with the last of its two expansions coming out this week. Online chatter would have us believe that the expansion might also lead to an alternate ending for the game, though that remains to be seen.

Here’s what we’re playing and watching this week.

이번 주, Final Fantasy 16 launches its second and final DLC expansion: The Rising Tide on April 18. This expansion is a little more story-heavy than the last one, adding a new chapter that picks things up at Clive’s hideaway. When the hero receives a letter asking him to rescue the Dominant of Leviathan the Lost, he embarks on a quest with his friends in the hidden land of Mysidia to uncover the tragic history of its forgotten people. The expansion’s trailer seems to hint that Clive’s newfound access to Leviathan’s abilities might lead to a different ending to his story.

The developer of the beloved Ori and the Blind Forest games is trying something new with No Rest for the Wicked, which enters Early Access on Steam on April 18. Moon Studios’ latest is an action-RPG that puts you in the shoes of a Cerim, a member of a group of mystical holy warriors sworn to defeat the Pestilence that is corrupting their home. If you’d like a more story-focused take on the action-RPG genre, give it a shot.

If you’re a fan of the travel show-like ‘remote’ segments Conan O’Brien used to do on his talk shows, you might want to check out Conan O’Brien Must Go. The Max series debuts on April 18 and consists of just four episodes, featuring the former talk show host as he travels the world to meet fans and inevitably get into hijinks.

Also worth a watch is the weekly Apple TV + series Sugar, which took me three episodes to really get into. Colin Farrell plays a private detective who really loves old movies here, but things take a turn when he picks up a missing persons case that only gets more complex and dangerous the more he looks into it. While the series sells itself as a standard hardboiled noir mystery at first, last week’s episode practically gave its game away: there’s a twist coming, and it’s going to be an audacious one.
