J Balvin performs his first VR live performance within the Metaverse

Date:

J Balvin had his first live performance within the Metaverse this afternoon on Friday, Feb. 17. He carried out his songs with a 4.5 meter robotic arm that moved to the rhythm of his music.

By Instagram, Alvaro Osorio, J Balvin’s father and supervisor, revealed the main points of the efficiency within the Metaverse, which he claims has been “created specifically for virtual reality” as a 180-degree musical expertise.

“The whole show has a futuristic vibe, including a crazy robotics that doubles me in size. It will be one of my craziest shows and I thank Meta and iHeart for their collaboration and the platform to explore my passion for technology in a way that allows my fans to experience my music, together, in a different way,” stated Balvin.

J Balvin stated he’s all the time “looking for new and innovative ways to expand access to art and the Virtual Reality space offers unlimited opportunities,” which is why he was inspired to supply this new expertise to his followers.

The live performance can be broadcast by the Horizon Worlds platform in the US and might be adopted in Latin America on Meta Quest TV for iHeartRadio members.
