Pokémon GO Fest 2021 around the corner the game will celebrate its fifth year since the mobile applications release date. In honor of this special anniversary, ticket prices will be reduced and the event will start on July 17, with special events and rewards for trainers to earn.
Pokémon trainers can earn the exclusive Rockstar Pikachu from the Pokémon GO Fest 2021 event. Players need to choose between certain Pokémon to feature in your musical show, and complete event-exclusive tasks to earn rewards. Entering the event, players will need to choose between Pikachu Pop Star and Pikachu Rock Star. These are custom Pikachus for players to pick and help you on your special research missions. The only way to obtain both Pikachu’s is by trading with another player.
Both of these Pikachu’s have the ability to learn special moves based on their costumes. The ability for Pikachu Rock Star will learn the charge move meteor mash. Pikachu Pop Star’s special ability will be a move called draining kiss. Picking between both special Pikachu’s, players will learn poses your characters can make in-game. A rockin’ pose with Rockstar Pikachu and an iconic pose with Popstar Pikachu.
