Passion Republic Games’ debut game, the kaiju brawler GigaBash, now has a release date. Announced at the Epic Games Store Summer Showcase 2022, as part of Summer Game Fest, a new trailer emerged showing off new cutscenes as well as another playable character, Rawa.

Rawa the Dragon King is plated with gold trims and heavy armour, and can spew out massive Ethereal Flames as an attack. And the Ultimate turns that into an even massive laser beam of flames and destruction. Rawa sweeps, charges and has a set of glowy wings to match the flames.

GigaBash takes inspiration from various multiplayer brawler games including Power Stone, Super Smash Bros. and War Of The Monsters. The roster of playable characters revealed so far should tick the boxes of what kaiju movie fans would expect. The four-player brawler will also have local and online multiplayer.

GigaBash will be out on August 5 for the PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
