Coming to console and PC later in 2022, Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator has today been fully detailed by the teams at NACON and Cyanide Studios. If you want to find reason to get cooking in the virtual world, this could well be it.
Due to launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC come October 7th 2022, Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator will arrive in collaboration with the world renowned Michelin Guide, offering up both a management and simulation gaming experience.
Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator immerses players in the life of a restaurateur, as they look to prove their worth by honing their cooking skills like never before. From there, the need to manage their team and make the best decisions for their establishment will come to the fore, with the French development studio at Cyanide intent on ensuring that realism a core part of the game.
As committed foodies, the developers wanted to create the first cooking game that recreates the true life of a restaurateur and in Chef Life players must ensure top quality in terms of ingredients, dishes served and efficient management of the table service, while keeping an eye on their budget to improve the reputation of their restaurant.
It should come to market in October boasting a polished customisation system, as players can choose the appearance of their avatar, kitchen components, restaurant decor, and the menu they offer to customers from a selection of some 80 French and Italian dishes. Culinary and entrepreneurial skills will be essential in order to satisfy the customers, but it is the quality of the dishes cooked by the player that will enable them to receive those coveted MICHELIN Guide Stars.
You see, for the first time in a video game, the MICHELIN Guide, an international reference in gastronomic recommendations, has advised the Cyanide studio to integrate in-game mechanics and content that offer real gastronomic challenges to players. Chef Life will include a rating system that reflects the player’s ambition and excellence and they will need to go to great lengths to satisfy the most demanding customers in order to earn a MICHELIN Star from the famous Guide and make their restaurant a must-visit establishment thanks to the quality of its cuisine!
