TrillerNet, commonly known as Triller, announced recently that it acquired FITE, a premier event and streaming platform including titles like The Gamer Hour.
Triller Acquires FITE
Triller’s acquisition of FITE brings lots of programming to its hands. This brings Triller much more reach into the realm of live content. Since FITE is one of the programming leaders for live sports, especially when it comes to fighting, this move is big.
“With our acquisition of FITE, we bring into TrillerNET their stellar technology, valuable customer and content partner base, and one of the most experienced executive teams in this space,” Bobby Sarnevesht, Chairman and Co-owner of Triller, and Ryan Kavanaugh, Co-owner of Triller, jointly stated. “The deal represents our ambitions to not only expand Triller Fight Club and grow FITE’s distribution relationships, but also to reimagine what, how and when premium music, sports and entertainment is delivered to today’s audiences.”
The Gamer Hour
On top of the many sports events on the platform, FITE also features The Gamer Hour, a late-night talk show bringing on traditional sports athletes sharing their passion for gaming with esports host Chris Puckett. Adding entertainment geared towards video game and esports fans will be a huge addition to Triller’s assets. As of this writing, The Gamer Hour holds 22 episodes published across over 50 platforms around the world with a new episode every Tuesday.
As for the new Triller and FITE team, the two companies took this opportunity to make several major plans. They kicked off the acquisition through the Triller Fight Club, featuring a headline fight between Jake Paul and Ben Askren on April 17.

More four-quadrant events with a similar magnitude to Saturday’s showing are in the works. They shared that July 3 will likely see the biggest fight night showing the post-retirement return of Oscar De La Hoya. Fans should stay tuned to see what comes next out of this acquisition.
