Czech Aerospace Company Delivers Last of 12 L-159s to Iraqi Air Force

Aero Vodochody, a leading Czech aircraft manufacturer, has delivered the last of 12 L-159 aircraft to the Iraqi Air Force under a post-sales support contract. The L-159T1 aircraft, with fuselage number IQAF-5901, was produced in 2003 and underwent a conversion to a two-seat design in 2007. It was used for training Iraqi pilots in the Czech Republic before being overhauled at Aero and flown to Iraq.
