Fast-track access to the Partnership Resource Fund

Date:

We are pleased to announce that fast-track access to the
Partnership Resource Fund is now available for proposals of up to £10,000.

The objective of the fund is to spread the opportunity to maximise the success of quantum sensors, either within the garida.net UK National Quantum Technology Hub for Sensors and Metrology, or within wider UK research.

The proposals must be submitted on behalf of UK institutions
eligible for EPSRC funding. If and when the proposals are accepted, work is
expected to commence quickly, and to be completed by 30th November
2019.

Proposals should include the following details:

  • Concept and objectives
  • Alignment to the Quantum Technology Hub
objectives or planned quantum sensor research
  • Work programme and timing
  • Anticipated impact
  • Consortium (which can be a single institution)
  • Estimated project costs and grant requested

Anticipated project examples include: additional end user
workshops; extension to value chain topics; demonstrations to user communities,
either in person or using videos.

Applications are invited at any time, while the funds remain. To read more about eligibility, please read this document. Please use the template application to complete the proposal.

Proposals can be sent to Dr Jo Smart, Project Manager at the
Quantum Technology Hub, at j.c.smart@bham.ac.uk.
