Winning 16 awards, the Drury Design team swept the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) Chicago Midwest Design Vision Awards. Taking home awards from both the kitchen and bathroom categories, the team was well represented across the board. Including four in kitchens, 10 in baths, Best of Show, and Best Overall Design. The Design Vision competition is open to designers throughout the Midwest. NKBA Chicago Midwest judges scored contest entries in five key areas: safety and ergonomics, elements and principals of design, design planning, creativity, and presentation. According to NKBA Chicago Midwest, industry experts selected to judge are certified NKBA designers, architects, and American Society of Interior Design Chicago [ASID] members.

Clarendon Hills Master Bath Remodel Wins Three NKBA Chicago Midwest Design Vision Awards

This young family had completed several remodeling projects on the first floor of their 1980’s era home and the time had finally come where they wanted to focus on the second floor their master bath was first on the list. A modified floor plan borrowed space from an adjoining bedroom and closet to make room for new amenities. The floating vanity cabinets paired with quartz counters, wall-mounted fixtures, and mirrors featuring built-in lighting enhance the room’s sleek, clean look.

All Natural New Build Wins First Place NKBA Chicago Midwest Design Vision Large Kitchen Award

This kitchen serves as the unique focal point of a beautiful biophilic new build. This clean, streamlined, contemporary kitchen was designed for empty nesters looking for a spacious kitchen with two separate workstations and a layout designed for entertaining, cooking, and convenience.

Soothing Hinsdale Remodel Wins Third Place NKBA Chicago Midwest Design Vision Large Bath

These homeowners desired a master bath that was a true master retreat, soothing with neutral tones. They wanted the room to be light and spacious with both his and her vanities as well as a large shower area and a roomy water closet with lots of storage.

Lavish Bath Remodel resizes and earns NKBA Chicago Midwest Design Vision Honorable Mention

This entire floor plan was reworked, as the original shower was moved to the previous makeup area and some of the bath was expanded into what was the master closet. The combination of white marble on the floors, tops, and shower walls with a soft grey, added to the mix of the classic marble creates a one of a kind luxurious bath space.
