Dead by Daylight 5.4.0 hit the PTB on Tuesday, and the patch notes reveal not just the usual slew of bug fixes and quality of life improvements, but several huge additions including a new Killer, a new Survivor, and a new map.
First and foremost in the additions is The Artist, also known as Carmina Mora. Followed by a murder of crows that once saved her life, The Artist, was once a street artist who exposed local corruption in her home town. When the enemies she made in that process cut out her tongue, chopped off her hands, and dumped her in a graveyard, The Entity brought her into fold and made her one of its Killers.
The Survivor is Jonah Vasquez, a Mexican-American codebreaker who worked for the CIA. When a sequence of numbers he’d seen all his life appeared during one of his CIA investigations, he followed their trail to the Forsaken Boneyard.
The new map is known as the Eyrie of Crows.
Dead by Daylight is also coming to the Epic Games Store, where it will launch with all its DLC in December.
