Days of Heroes: D-Day Lands on PC VR in March

Date:

Days of Heroes: D-Day

Polish developer Zen Apps Studio revealed its low-poly, WWII shooter Days of Heroes: D-Day last month, set to offer a single-player campaign based on one of the most decisive events of the war. Today, the team has announced that the PC VR is due to arrive in a couple of weeks.

Days of Heroes: D-Day

Days of Heroes: D-Day‘s campaign will be split in two, where you can take on the role of an airborne division jumper descending into enemy territory or a soldier disembarking onto Omaha Beach on D-Day. From there you’ll have to fight through heavy defences and destabilize the enemy troops at night.

While the graphics offer a simpler aesthetic in comparison to big-budget offerings like Respawn Entertainment’s  Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, Days of Heroes: D-Day still aims for realistic interaction. Guns and other weapons are accurate to the period, both in look and mechanics, whether they’re sniper rifles, machine guns or grenades. Plus you’ll also have to man anti-aircraft guns, artillery and other emplacements to complete missions.

All of this will take place across 26 missions, set to offer a wide variety of challenges, from destroying enemy tanks to escaping from a POW camp. Once the main campaign is over a Hardcore Mode will unlock to make those missions even harder. Or you can head to the Shooting Range for some practice with all the guns.

Zen Apps Studio will launch Days of Heroes: D-Day for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive on 11th March 2021. Check out the new trailer below and for further updates keep reading VRFocus.
