The Climate Change Commission has doubled-down in its latest advice to government on the need to increase the trigger price for the emission trading scheme’s cost containment reserve.

In its annual advice to government, released this morning, the commission warns that if the government again ignores its recommendation to substantially increase the trigger price regulations are likely to be required to drive down emissions.
