Cape Privacy, the leading encrypted learning platform, today announced the appointment of a new head of product, Luisa Herrmann-Nowosielski, an experienced product leader in data software, to help drive Cape’s mission to bring data privacy by default to machine learning.

Most recently, Luisa was Head of Product Management at expert.ai, an artificial intelligence platform for language understanding. She has also held senior product management roles at Validity Inc, a provider of customer data quality and marketing analytics software; Zoominfo, the global go-to-market intelligence solutions company; and EnerNOC, which offers cloud-based energy intelligence software (EIS) and services to global enterprise customers and utilities.

In addition to financial services, Cape Privacy’s technology can be used across sectors including life sciences and government. Cape Privacy announced a Series A of $20 million in April of 2021, bringing its total raise to $25 million.
