Bostik, a leading global adhesive specialist for industrial, construction and consumer markets, will sponsor the 31st Annual Big Apple Bash supporting The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp charity on November 12, 2022. The Big Apple Bash will welcome supporters, deserving children and their families to Tavern on the Green in the heart of Central Park in New York City.

Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp allows children with serious illnesses to experience the joys of camp through summer, family weekend and hospital outreach programs. These events allow families to connect with one another to share their experiences as children go through treatment for diseases such as Progeria, Sickle Cell Anemia, Hemophilia and other general or rare diseases. Currently, camping programs take place in Ashford, Connecticut; a new location is also set to open in 2024 along the eastern shore of Maryland.

The Annual Big Apple Bash helps support Hole in the Wall’s year-round programs, raising over $20 million in the past three decades. This year’s event will include dinner and dessert buffets, plus music and entertainment for families and supporters to come together. As a sponsor, Bostik will attend the event and donate funds to send one child to camp in the next year.

“Bostik has manufacturing locations across the country, and we are always striving to give back to the communities that support our business,” said Jeff Ogren, Business Director for the Advanced Packaging Global Business Unit at Bostik. “We’re grateful to be part of the Annual Big Apple Bash that brings together the support these families and their children need, allowing them to make new friends and create joyful memories together.”
