Binance opens up a new way for its users to buy SHIB directly from their Ledger wallet.

Binance has announced a partnership with crypto hardware wallet provider Ledger to enable people to conveniently purchase Shiba Inu (SHIB) using fiat.

According to an announcement today, verified Binance users can buy SHIB through their Ledger hardware wallet using their bank cards, including Visa and Mastercard. After a successful purchase, the canine-themed cryptocurrency will be automatically transferred to the user’s Ledger address, Binance noted.

Ledger users who are yet to open a verified Binance account are advised to do so in order to use the service.

Binance also announced the development on Twitter.

The solution is currently available on the desktop version of Ledger Live, a companion application where Ledger users manage their crypto assets.

Aside from Shiba Inu, people can also use the solution to purchase more than 80 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), etc.

“Users can now purchase more than 80 different cryptocurrencies via the Discover section of the Ledger Live desktop app using their bank cards, including Visa and Mastercard. The whole process takes just a few clicks,” Binance said in a statement.

Jean-Francois Rochet, Ledger’s VP of Transactions and Services, commented on the development, saying:

“Binance and Ledger are truly global leaders in the digital asset space, and it only makes sense to combine to provide our users with the benefits of buying crypto from Binance within Ledger Live, offering Ledger’s uncompromising world-class security.”

The announcement marks the latest Binance support for Shiba Inu. As reported by TheCryptoBasic, the exchange added Shiba Inu to the list of supported cryptocurrency assets on Binance Pay.
