Eligibility Criteria

HydroOne energizing life community fund application

To be eligible for the Energizing Life Community Fund, organizations must meet the following criteria:

1. Fall into one of the following categories:
   • Indigenous community group
   • Municipal community group
   • Canadian registered charity or non-profit
2. Be non-politically affiliated
3. Focus on improving community physical, psychological, or emotional safety
4. Commit to cultural diversity in their communities through programs, services, and funding
5. Have operations in Ontario
6. Report accurately and transparently on community investment activities and impact
7. Be willing to collaborate on stakeholder and employee engagement opportunities

Application Process

1. Review the funding criteria to ensure eligibility.
2. Complete the online application form, titling it “Community Fund – [Your Organization Name].”
3. Hydro One will notify selected recipients directly.
