Apex player is farmed by teamers in ranked after allies collude with enemy squad

Enemy Apex Legends squads teaming up in ranked is no surprise. But what happens when you’re the odd one out?

One Apex player had an unfortunate ranked experience when they were farmed for kills by an opposing squad, posting a video of the encounter earlier today. To make matters worse, their allies were colluding with the enemy team.

The player was ambushed by the enemies in a Diamond ranked match and began a firefight that they lost. As the enemies begin shooting back, the player’s allies did nothing and allowed it all to happen. Even as the player was getting executed by the opposing Gibraltar, their teammates stood close by nonplussed.

The unlucky Bloodhound player was then respawned at a beacon before being chased down by an enemy and finished off again. They allege that this happened three times, forcing them to leave the ranked game. The player also claims they “acted friendly and were chatting with me like proper teammates to trick me.”

This definitely isn’t the first instance of teaming in high-ranked lobbies. When several top Apex players were caught teaming in Predator lobbies last year, lead designer Chin Xiang Chong said the devs would “take appropriate action after doing appropriate investigations.”

If investigated, the offending players would likely be banned because this behavior clearly violates the integrity of competitive matchmaking.

Jamppi sticks to his guns, confirms he won’t be returning to CS:GO

Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen has doubled down on his commitment to VALORANT.

The Finnish sniper confirmed he won’t be returning to Counter-Strike in a recent stream.

“Don’t be mad guys, but I’m going to stick to VALORANT,” Jamppi said on Wednesday. “So I’m not going back to CS. That’s for sure now. I hope there will not be too many people upset about it, but the decision was extremely hard to make.”

Jamppi wasn’t allowed to participate in Valve-sponsored events due to a VAC ban dating back to 2013. This led to the player stepping down from ENCE and pursuing a career in VALORANT in January 2021.

In April, Valve updated its eligibility guidelines to only disqualify players from events if they had received a VAC ban less than five years prior to a minor or major tournament. This change made Jamppi eligible to compete again in CS:GO

But despite this, Jamppi is clearly dead set on VALORANT. The Team Liquid player qualified for VCT Masters Reykjavík on May 2 after beating Fnatic in the finals of VCT EMEA Stage Two Challengers.

A recent report indicated that Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom, the brother of Jamppi’s teammate ScreaM, was close to signing a contract with Liquid. As an already established roster, this suggested that a player, perhaps Jamppi, would be stepping down in the near future. But now, that looks like it’s no longer the case.

Jamppi will represent Liquid at VCT Masters Reykjavík on May 24.

FaZe Clan’s cameram4n on March LATAM roster shuffle: ‘We’ve never seen a region change so much’

FaZe Clan were arguably the biggest beneficiary of the March transfer window in Rainbow Six Siege. Following a series of underwhelming results, the storied organization released four members of their roster, opting to buy out the majority of the MiBR roster.

The move reunited long-time FaZe Clan player Gabriel “cameram4n” Hespanhol with the organization, and also added Jaime “Cyber” Ramos, José “Bullet1” Victor, and Lucas “soulz1” Romero Schinke. Only Leonardo “Astro” Luis remained, once again joining with cameram4n.

“We’ve never seen a region change so much,” said cameram4n. “That’s probably because of us… it felt good, especially for me, because I got to come back to FaZe Clan.”

The only team that fundamentally stayed the same in the LATAM region in March was Team Liquid. MiBR’s roster was pillaged, and they bought out the Team oNe roster as a result, Team oNe was forced to make a patchwork roster with players from multiple teams, Black Dragons took on the old FaZe members.

It was quite the offseason–and it looks like it’s paying off. The new-look FaZe has been burning through the LATAM region. They tied for first in BR6 with Team Liquid, their chief rivals, but fell to Team oNe in the opening playoff round of the Copa Elite Six. Regardless, FaZe came to France with high expectations after obtaining the MiBR core that was the best team in Brazil during 2020.

Despite the shuffle, Brazilian teams have been highlighted by fans and analysts as some of the favorites coming into SI, and FaZe is no exception. Soulz1 has been instrumental throughout the regular season, and his support play has been one of the reasons why analysts think FaZe has a chance at winning it all.

LATAM has high expectations coming into France. The region is expected to have one of their teams raise the hammer in victory when the tournament is done. FaZe Clan has had a strong start to the tournament, but there’s still lots of Siege to be played.

“Every team that’s here, they’re the best in the world,” soulz1 said, when speaking about his experiences attending his first Invitational. “If we can play against these teams and show a good performance, that means we’re on a high level.”

In the most recent Brawl Talk, Supercell unveiled two new Brawlers coming to Brawl Stars in season six–Belle and Squeak.

Belle is a chromatic Brawler, which means that she’s available in the season six Brawl Pass, which will end on June 21. Squeak, on the other hand, will arrive a bit later into the season.

Squeak is an alien who is a part of Colonel Ruffs’ Star Force. He has evolved from the drool of Ruffs’ dog toys. His main attack is a toy that can be thrown over a short distance. These toys stick to enemies and walls due to Ruffs’ drool and explode.

His super is a frag grenade. It can be thrown over walls and explodes after a short period, dealing damage to all enemies in a large radius around it.
