2K and HB Studios’ next entry of their golf sim series, PGA Tour 2K23 will have 20 officially licensed courses when the game tees off this October.

Three of them are brand-new to the series, while the rest are returning from the previous game, PGA Tour 2K21 (there was no game for last year).

All of the real-life courses are replicated by using various data points including aerial drone footage, lidar data, high-resolution photography and supporting assets provided by the course’s management.

Here are the 20 licensed courses that will be available in PGA Tour 2K23 at launch (bold indicates new courses to the series):

  • Atlantic Beach Country Club
  • Bay Hill Golf Club & Lodge (Arnold Palmer Course)
  • Copperhead (Innisbrook)
  • Detroit Golf Club
  • East Lake Golf Club
  • Quail Hollow Club
  • Riviera Country Club
  • St. George’s Golf and Country Club
  • The Renaissance Club
  • TPC Boston
  • TPC Deere Run
  • TPC Louisiana
  • TPC River Highlands
  • TPC San Antonio
  • TPC Sawgrass
  • TPC Scottsdale
  • TPC Southwind
  • TPC Summerlin
  • TPC Twin Cities
  • Wilmington Country Club (South Course)

More courses will be added as free post-launch updates. The few revealed so far are the following:

  • Pebble Beach Golf Club
  • Spyglass Hill
  • Torrey Pines (North and South Courses)

Of course, there will be plenty of custom courses via the Custom Course feature where players can design their own front nine, back nine, or a full 18-hole course.

The course count indicates that we won’t see the full calendar of a PGA Tour replicated in this entry- the 2021-2022 season has about 50 rounds. But progress is being made on that front.

PGA Tour 2K23 stars Tiger Woods on the cover, and will include a traditional 3-click swing option for golf game players that prefer that over the analog motion swing.

The game will be out on October 14 for the PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
