Cyber expert Crosspoint Capital follows huge debut fund success by bringing in two new managing directors

Date:

Cybersecurity and software infrastructure-focused buyout house Crosspoint Capital Partners has brought in two new managing directors.

Laura Grattan has more than more than 15 years of investment experience, most recently with Thomas H Lee Partners, and through work in the private equity group at Goldman Sachs.

Dan Stanko was most recently a partner at HGGC, where he was responsible for driving new and existing investment opportunities, with a particular focus on software.

He previously spent nearly a decade at Bain Capital evaluating, executing, and driving value creation across transactions including the acquisition of Blue Coat Systems and its sale to Symantec.

Crosspoint sealed one of the biggest first-time tech-focused private equity fundraises ever by bringing in $1.3bn for a final close in April.

Firm managing partner Steve Luczo said, “We believe the combination of investment, sector and deep operating expertise represents a differentiated approach to private equity investing.

“We are excited to continue to build the team with Dan and Laura.”

Crosspoint recently made the fourth investment out of its debut fund, which so far has been used to back Forescout Technologies, Cyware, ExtraHop and Everseen.
