Edelweiss Financial NCD October 2022 description – After starting as an investment banking firm, the company has now diversified its businesses to include credit including retail and corporate credit, asset management, asset reconstruction, insurance including life and general insurance business, and wealth management businesses, which are conducted through its subsidiaries.
Edelweiss Financial Services has a pan-India and international network with approximately 216 domestic offices, and three international offices (total 219 offices), in approximately 126 cities in India and three international locations and employed approximately 5,833 employees as at 30 June 2022.
The group comprises 29 subsidiaries and 10 associate companies as at 30 June 2022. Its profit/(loss) attributable to owners of the company was INR1,887.84 million for the year ended March 31, 2022 and was INR 263.80 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 on a consolidated basis. Its total income of the company was INR 73,046.00 million for the year 31 March 2022 and was INR 12,936.60 million for the quarter ended 30 June 2022 on a consolidated basis.
