Swiss startup RaiseNow has landed around €5 million in a Series A+ investment round, led by SIX Fintech Ventures with PostFinance and other individual investors. The fresh funds will go towards enhancing its product suite and helping its user community of ‘changemakers’ find supporters, raise funds, and create impact.
Founded in 2016, headquartered in Zurich, and with active offices in Berlin and Munich, the RaiseNow builds fundraising technology to help non-profit organisations find supporters, rally communities, raise funds, and create impact. Its tools and solutions, built upon years of fundraising experience, technological expertise, and learnings from the industry, create better journeys connecting supporters to their causes.
So far the team has grown from 3 to 50, serving over 4,000 organisations around the world. Within the last six months, the startup has extended its fundraising ecosystem by forging new partnerships with TWINT, Salesforce, ClubDesk, Webling, and more, and greatly expanded product functionality.

SIX Fintech Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of SIX, and PostFinance, the financial services unit of Swiss Post, both invest in innovative high-potential startups in the fintech sector. Another prominent investor featured in the round was Ivo Francioni, a private investor and fintech veteran, who will also join RaiseNow’s Board of Directors.
This financing round also followed a strategic merger earlier this year between RaiseNow and Altruja, a fundraising technology company specialised in the growth of digital fundraising in Germany and Austria.
