去年在 Aria 參加了金融科技聚會，今年在威尼斯人舉行無疑是一個巨大的進步。一切都在同一水平上，從主題演講到田徑場再到展覽廳都很方便。會議在展覽館的一大片區域舉行。
會議。哦，是的，有會議。我不確定官方的總數，但應該有超過 45,000 場會議。從會議區域的巨大規模和活動來看，如果我們超過這個數字，我不會感到驚訝。
以下是我在金融科技聚會上的一些隨機想法。
銀行即服務仍然存在且發展良好——關於 BaaS 銀行的監管打壓以及許多金融科技中介機構的裁員有很多討論。大多數對話的共識是 BaaS 有著光明的未來，但它看起來會有些不同。銀行已經變得更加嚴格，使得新創公司推出新產品變得更加困難。目前很少有銀行有興趣與籌集不到幾百萬美元的小團隊合作的新金融科技。這些企業家必須發揮更多創意或籌集更多資金。但對於老牌公司來說，如今有許多銀行希望與您合作。
即時支付正在慢慢取得進展——FedNow 的負責人 Mark Gould 自豪地宣布他們的網絡不斷發展，目前已有 600 多家銀行加入。隨著用例變得更加普遍，RTP 也在成長。但我們還沒有達到臨界點，因為 ACH 仍然使通過這些網路的流量相形見絀。我們被提醒，ACH 花了幾十年才獲得普及；即時付款會更快。
創投家樂觀但謹慎——與會的創投家樂觀地認為金融科技冬天最糟糕的日子已經過去。優秀的公司現在正在獲得融資，但在推動合理估值方面，創投仍然佔上風。金融科技創業家非常清楚這一動態，因為他們繼續專注於推動獲利。
我們還需要創投家嗎？我需要提到 Bilt Rewards 執行長兼聯合創始人 Ankur Jain 的主題演講，他接受了 FT Partners 的 Steve McLaughlin 的採訪。他持有相反的觀點，即大多數金融科技執行長應避免接受創投，除非絕對必要。他表示，經常存在利益不一致的情況，很難做出符合公司最佳長期利益的正確決策。對於最近從一些一線創投公司籌集了 200 億美元資金的人來說，這有點諷刺。但這仍然是活動中的一個話題。
詐欺仍然是每個人最關心的問題——隨著詐欺者能夠使用生成人工智慧，詐欺挑戰呈指數級上升，對此有很多討論。一位小組成員評論說，詐欺者擁有所有最新的工具，無需擔心合規性，這使得領先於他們具有挑戰性。但欺詐領域的許多人堅稱我們現在正在贏得這場戰鬥。
我有沒有提到我們有人工智慧？是的，在整個展廳裡，有數十家公司在宣傳他們透過人工智慧優化的最新解決方案，使用人工智慧從頭開始構建，或至少是基於人工智慧的解決方案。雖然我確信其中許多解決方案都很棒，但人工智慧的炒作是顯而易見的。不幸的是，監管機構在這方面落後了，因為我們需要一個人工智慧模型可以安全地提供建議的框架，但我們還沒有做到這一點。
