The mainstream media has been waging an all-out war against hydroxychloroquine since President Trump touted the malaria drug as a “potential game-changer” in March. Then in May, we wrote about Yale epidemiology professor Dr. Harvey Risch after he came out with a study that suggests that early outpatient treatment is the most effective for treatment of COVID-19 patients.
In the study, Dr. Risch said that late stage studies missed the point about effective usage of hydroxychloroquine. He went on to say that immediate and early ramping-up of treatment for high-risk COVID-19 patients is key to controlling the coronavirus pandemic crisis.
Since our last article, a new bombshell study conducted by the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit found that hydroxychloroquine cut the death rate significantly in sick patients hospitalized with COVID-19 – and without heart-related side-effects. The study also found that hydroxychloroquine cut death rate by 50% for COVID-19 patients.
Now, Dr. Risch is back with more findings about coronvirus and the use of hydroxychloroquine as potential treatment for COVID-19 patients. Speaking on Monday night with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, Risch maintained that the controversial drug is proven to be effective against coronavirus and and safe for people to use, but said the drug has become the victim of a “propaganda war.”
“It’s a political drug now, not a medical drug,” Risch said. “I think we are basically fighting a propaganda war against the medical facts, and that colors not just population people, how they think about it, but doctors, as well.
“There are many doctors that I’ve gotten hostile remarks [from] saying that all the evidence is bad for it and, in fact, that is not true at all,” he said. “All the evidence is actually good for it when it’s used in outpatient uses.
“Nevertheless, the only people who actually see that are a whole pile of doctors who are actually on the front lines treating those patients across the country — and they are the ones who are at risk of being forced not to do it.”
All in all, Risch asserted that “75,000 to 100,000 lives would be saved” if the drug was used widely and perhaps as a prophylactic, meaning in a preventative manner.
So, what’s mainstream media waging the war on hydroxychloroquine? Are they doing it to push more expensive drugs developed by big pharmaceutical companies?

He added that the great part about a place like India with all geographies is that there are a bunch of micro, small and medium-sized businesses, which is why the company is focusing on digitizing Indian sellers.
Amazon has already launched a bunch of new features to help support digitization efforts with some of the brands.
The company is focussing on on-boarding more sellers and hiring some people as well to work around their goals.

Intensified competition with JioMart’s entry
The US-based company is a constant competition with Walmart-owned Indian company Flipkart, which would further be intensified with the entry of Mukesh Ambani’s JioMart.
Earlier this year, during Amazon founder Jeff Bezos visit to India, a fresh capital of Rs 2310 crore was fueled into one of its India units as per the regulatory documents.
During the investor call, Amazon’s CFO Brian Olsavsky said,
“What you also see are investments in new countries. Obviously, India is the biggest one, but also, to a lesser extent, Middle East, Brazil, Turkey, & Australia are recent additions. So there is always an element of expansion going on there.”
