WWE 2K22 ratings were expected to be as hot a topic this year as ever, and that’s definitely not disappointed with each successive reveal.

With new WWE 2K22 ratings dropping almost every day, we’ve got details on all of the overalls that have been revealed so far and who’s leading the charge on this year’s roster.

Latest – Brock Lesnar revealed

WWE 2K22 ratings continue to drop, and the latest may be one of their biggest for some fans as “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar has been officially confirmed.

In WWE 2K22, he will have a 94 Overall Rating, which is a 1-point improvement from his 93 Overall Rating in WWE 2K20.

However, it doesn’t put him at the top this year, as Roman Reigns has already been revealed to have a 95 Overall Rating, a 3-point jump from his 92 Overall in WWE 2K20.

Rather than giving us a bulk reveal, so far we’ve seen the majority of the WWE 2K22 ratings reveals dropped individually on the WWE Games Twitter.

Will anyone on the roster have a 99 OVR rating?

Whether it’s Madden, NBA 2K, MLB The Show, or any other major sports title, fans can always expect to get out their pitchforks when the ratings start to roll in.

Either you’ll see someone near the top who you’ve deemed grossly overrated, or somewhere further down the list will be an undeniable gem that the game simply did not recognize appropriately.

That won’t be any different with WWE 2K22, but before we get to the top spot candidates, it’s important to know what a “top” rating in WWE 2K22 is likely to be.

Madden 22 continued a multi-year tradition of creating a coveted 99 Club featuring only a handful of top players at that coveted perfect overall rating.

NBA 2K22 kept with their trend of making things a bit different, with four of the league’s best taking top launch ratings of 96 OVR.

MLB The Show 21 found a groove with their own bit of both, having players on the core game roster used in Franchise go as high as 99 OVR while keeping their regularly updated Diamond Dynasty core a bit lower so it could flex with bi-weekly roster updates throughout the season.

With WWE 2K22 having the same publisher and development studio as NBA 2K22, we’re most likely to see them use a similar approach, and that was the case last time as the top WWE 2K20 superstars were rated at 93 OVR.

As a result, we’re not expecting anyone in WWE 2K22 to hit that coveted 99 OVR rating, but we should see some stiff competition for top spots in the 92 OVR to 96 OVR range.

Who will be the highest rated superstar in WWE 2K22?

Before we look at this year’s top contenders, it helps to know where things were before, and WWE 2K20 had some familiar names at the top.

The top five highest rated superstars in WWE 2K20 were as follows:

• Brock Lesnar – 93 OVR
• The Rock – 93 OVR
• Roman Reigns – 92 OVR
• Becky Lynch – 90 OVR

• Ronda Rousey – 90 OVR

A few of these will surely be back near the top, but definitely not all as The Rock and Ronda Rousey have both been relatively absent in the last few years.

While they could make the game if they still have ongoing agreements with WWE, they’re unlikely to take the top rated positions.

As of now, these are the top 6 favorites to be among WWE 2K22’s highest rated:

• Brock Lesnar
• Roman Reigns
• Big E
• Sasha Banks
• Becky Lynch

• Charlotte Flair

All six of these superstars have been dominant and integral factors in the last few years, and there are few who would argue that they don’t deserve to be in that upper echelon.

As for who will take the coveted top spot, Lesnar and Reigns are most likely, but Charlotte Flair could be a dark horse if they want to raise the women’s roster to the same top ratings as the men’s roster.
