“While payments remain central to any business, they are rapidly becoming a smaller component of larger, overarching technology that manages financial operations, business processes, and consumer engagement. We are excited to be a part of the evolution of payment technology.” – Tyler Kattre
MADISON, Wis. (PRWEB) January 07, 2022
Wind River Financial, a top 100 payment processing company based in Madison, Wisconsin, announced today that Tyler Kattre has been promoted to the role of president. Kattre joined Wind River Financial in 2018 as chief financial officer.
In his new position, Mr. Kattre is responsible for providing strategic leadership, expanding the Wind River team, and representing the Wind River brand to clients, prospects, and the community. He is charged with further navigating the company’s strategic expansion into FinTech.
“Tyler was a cultural fit with the vision and values of our family business from the get go,” stated Wind River Financial co-founder, Mark Courchane. “During his tenure as chief financial officer, he demonstrated strong business acumen and a talent for getting things done,” he continued. “We are confident in Tyler’s ability to grow Wind River, safeguard its interest, and build upon the culture of service and respect that has been a part of our DNA for over 20 years,” added Matthew Uselman, head of sales and co-founder of Wind River.
Kattre is a University of Wisconsin alumnus earning his undergraduate degree at UW-Whitewater and his MBA at UW-Madison. Over the course of his career, he has held financial leadership roles in both startup and large corporate environments.
“The future of the payments industry is exhilarating,” stated Kattre. “In the old days, it was all about processing payments as a standalone service. While payments remain central to any business, they are rapidly becoming a smaller component of larger, overarching technology that manages financial operations, business processes, and consumer engagement,” he continued. “We are excited to be a part of the evolution of payment technology,” he added.
Kattre’s transition to the role of president is effective immediately. His former responsibilities will be assumed by Kristi Partenheimer, newly appointed vice president of finance.
