As touched on earlier, The Market is a new location where solo players can queue up to be instantly paired with a random in an unranked 1v1 park game.
The main catch is that unlike the 1v1 Rush Event games where winners get the ball back after scoring, The Market has it set up where the person who gets scored on gets a chance to retaliate.
As such, this feature has quickly become the go-to move for lone wolves, or those looking to score the ever-popular new Steph Curry Player Banner.
Early on in NBA 2K22 MyCareer on Next Gen, players are given a Season 1 quest from Ace Beckett inviting them to simply play five 1v1 games in The Market. In exchange, players who complete the challenge will be given 1,000 MVP Points, 1,500 VC, Season Level XP and the Curry Player Banner for their troubles.
