Henri formerly served as the CEO of cannabinoid manufacturer and retailer CBD Virtue, and Director of Research & Testing at non-profit The Cannabinoid Trust. Henri’s background is in law, and he began his career as a technology entrepreneur before working as a consultant in the supplements, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare sectors.

Payton is a former Director, VP, and Head of Sales at Mackie Research Capital, one of Canada’s largest independent brokerage firms with a focus on public health and human advancement. With 15 years of experience focusing on early-stage companies in multiple industries including technology, healthcare/biotech, cleantech, and cannabis, Payton has raised over $100M for 100+ public and private companies and facilitated numerous IPOs. He founded Numinus after recognizing a gap in the healthcare system, and out of a lifelong interest in health, wellness and personal development.

David is a lawyer and patent agent, and holds a PhD in biochemistry. David practises intellectual property and regulatory law. He is co-chair of the Borden Ladner Gervais Cannabis Industry Focus Group and his regulatory practice is specific to the Canadian cannabis industry. David advises federal cannabis licensees, technology companies and other domestic and foreign participants in the Canadian cannabis industry in relation to the Cannabis Act and its regulations, including the Cannabis Regulations and the Industrial Hemp Regulations.
